Does the cord end when stringing beads on certain kinds of cord (for example, wax cord) also change in a fuzzy mess? Below you will find four tips to prevent or solve fuzzy cord ends. Although the tips are very basic and simple, they are often handy.
Tip 1:
If you smear some nail polish on the cord end and let it dry thoroughly until the cord end has hardened, the beads can be strung on the cord more easily and the cord end will not easily become fuzzy.
Tip 2:
If you apply some glue to the cord end and let it dry thoroughly, the cord end will not easily become fuzzy.
Tip 3:
If the cord end becomes fuzzy when stringing beads on the cord, cut the cord end. You can now continue stringing beads; as soon as the cord end is fuzzy again, you can cut the cord end again.
Tip 4:
If the cord end turns fuzzy while stringing, place a small piece of adhesive tape tightly around the cord end.
